Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer / Senior Designer with strong experience in Capital Markets, Azure Cloud, and event-driven distributed systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications using Microservices architecture, REST APIs, Kafka, and Python.
 
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, hands-on development experience, and the ability to work closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
 
Capital Markets., SQL, Azure Cloud, AKS, Event Processing, Microservices, Restful API. Python. Kafka.   Databricks nice to have
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade applications for Capital Markets platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable Microservices-based solutions.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for system integration.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and messaging frameworks.
• Develop cloud-native applications on Azure and AKS.
• Write performant SQL queries and optimize database interactions.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Support DevOps, CI/CD deployment, testing, and production releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues. 
 
Experience Required:
• 8–12 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on development experience in enterprise applications.
• Strong experience in Azure-based cloud solutions.
• Experience working on Capital Markets or Financial Services projects.
• Proven experience in designing scalable Microservices and Event-Driven architectures.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 55/hr to CAD 65/hr .
